6LACK - LOVE IS THE NEW GANGSTA

Pressed on Moonlight Clear vinyl with alternate cover art. After a period of reflection and transformation, 6LACK returns with a powerful new album, Love is the New Gangsta, that marks the beginning of his most personal era yet. Rooted in self-exploration, healing, and radical honesty, the project finds the GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum selling artist peeling back every layer - examining love, identity, growth, and the quiet battles that shape who we become - as person, as a father, and as a man. It’s a record built on transparency and vulnerability, where every lyric feels like a conversation he’s finally ready to have, truthfully.

For 6LACK, love becomes the ultimate flex: choosing growth over ego, compassion over pride, and honesty over emotional armor. It’s a vision of love that stretches far beyond romance - touching friendship, community, self-love, and the universal connection that binds us all.

Sonically, the album pushes beyond the alternative R&B landscapes that first defined his sound. This time, 6LACK embraces a refreshed palette that sees him blending soulful melodies, atmospheric production, and moments of raw minimalism that allow his storytelling to breathe in new ways. With this new chapter, 6LACK isn’t just returning to music, he’s inviting listeners to grow and learn alongside him.
