AVANTASIA - THE METAL OPERA PART II

On July 24th, 2026, REAPER ENTERTAINMENT proudly present the return of another cornerstone of symphonic metal history: AVANTASIA – The Metal Opera Part II, reissued as a 25th Anniversary Vinyl Edition.

Originally released in 2002, the album continued and expanded Tobias Sammet’s groundbreaking AVANTASIA concept, further establishing the project as one of the most ambitious and collaborative forces in modern metal. Featuring an outstanding roster of guest musicians and vocalists, Part II solidified AVANTASIA’s reputation as a true metal opera in every sense.

For this anniversary edition, the album is presented in its definitive vinyl form for the first time, with a dedicated vinyl master personally created by Mika Jussila, specifically optimized for high-quality analog playback.

The release appears as a premium 2LP set on 180g heavyweight vinyl, presented in a striking gatefold sleeve that honors the scale and drama of the original production.

A long-awaited collector’s edition — and the definitive way to experience The Metal Opera Part II on vinyl.
